Butterflies everywhere!

Enjoying the butterfly exhibit at our botanical garden

Theo is thrilled to "hold" the butterflies.  Drewby finds his very own unique perspective for watching the butterflies.  Unfortunately, he wasn't able to hold any - I think his pudgy little hands scared them all away!

Lizzie demonstrates how it's done - what a poser!  And Will tries to coax another butterfly onto his hand.  We decided that the monarchs "enjoy" or at least tolerate, being held the most, while the long-winged zebras do NOT.  :)

It was too much to have all 3 holding butterflies & Drew on the same bench!

In the BEFORE photo, Theo is pouting because none of the butterflies are "coming" to him to be held!  In the AFTER photo he is much happier because Lizzie caught one for him and put it on his hand - this is "classic Theo" mood changes!  Just in case you can't read the shirt, it says, "My parents are exhausted!"  That was & is certainly the truth.  :)
