As I mentioned in a previous post, we spent part of our family vacation week in Cincinnati. It was August and it was HOT. As we were driving down the road, the van thermometer read "97"! We were planning to go to the Cinci zoo, but we scrapped that idea due to the extreme heat. We stayed at the Homewood Suites and we would highly recommend them for families. It had a kitchenette, but they also served a fabulous, hot breakfast every day AND supper on the weeknights!
On the first night, Tim & Will were able to go to the Reds game. As I mentioned, it was the night of "the brawl". They were able to see Joey Vatto & Jay Bruce (Will's fav) from their seats. Despite the heat & a loss, they had a great time! Tim loves this park & the scoreboard.
I won't pretend to know who this is! :)
The pool was another great feature at this hotel, especially with the heat!

There aren't any photos of Theo because he was UNDER water the whole time. He just swims around like a little fish & occasionally comes up for air. It was nerve-racking watching him at times & wondering if he was OK under there!
Since we decided to forego the zoo, we opted for the aquarium instead - inside with air conditioning! It was great!

The overhead fish tunnels were awesome. Surrounded by fish, but not wet, I like it! Notice my husband "petting" the sharks.
